ICON AWARDS OVERVIEW
The 2026 Colorado Event Alliance ICON Awards Event will celebrate Colorado’s best events and honor those who go above and beyond in serving our industry. The awards will be given out April 24, 2026, celebrating the 2025 calendar year achievements.
Upcoming Important Dates:
December 1, 2025: Entry Site Open
January 16, 2026: Early Bird Deadline
January 31, 2026: Submission Deadline
March 2, 2026: Award Finalists Announced/Event Registration Opens
April 24, 2026: ICON Awards Event at Upper Larimer
AWARDS CLASSIFICATIONS
The ICON Awards program included two classifications: Achievement and Recognition Awards with multiple categories within each classification:
Achievement Awards identify companies or organizations that excel in special events and event industry services for a specific event or multi-day program.
Recognition Awards recognize special event industry individuals for going above & beyond in their work.

The 2026 CEA ICON Event Awards process will being in the fall of 2025 with eligible events taking place from January 1st to December 31st, 2025. Start gathering your photos and videos and documenting your success to prepare for the entry process!
